Electronic Incarceration Program – Home incarceration is an alternative, cost-effective method of incarceration, by electronic G.P.S.technology and employers are required to monitor participants while at work. All inmates are thoroughly screened prior to placement on the program and on-site job checks, as well as alcohol and drug screens are performed routinely. Work Release Program – The Work Release Program allows non-violent offenders, who are sentenced within program guidelines, to maintain employment while serving their sentence.These guidelines insure the safety and security of the citizens of Fauquier County. Non-violent offenders are permitted to participate in this program, provided they meet all program criteria.
Fauquier County employees, bonded by the Fauquier Circuit Court, are utilized to supervise inmate workers to provide a wide range of services from cleaning county buildings to landscaping and snow removal on State, County or Town properties.
